Description
O trabalho académico apresentado tem como objetivo expor um projeto teórico-prático no qual é criada uma marca de vestuário ética e sustentável, aliada ao estilo minimalista.
Este projeto surgiu com a necessidade de resolver problemas ligados ao consumo de moda rápida, nomeadamente os pesticidas utilizados na cultura do algodão, as tintas tóxicas que os têxteis recebem e o descarte das roupas em fim-de-vida nos aterros.
O processo de desenvolvimento da marca passa pela pesquisa de tendências, inspiração, materiais e cor, pela definição do público-alvo e pelos valores da marca. As suas peças são ilustradas e têm o seu respetivo desenho técnico que auxilia a confeção das mesmas e, por fim, é estudada a melhor forma de promover a marca no mercado. Todos estes processos são realizados com base no paradigma ético e sustentável.
O projeto é realizado com base numa metodologia mista: não-intervencionista, de pesquisa, e intervencionista de base quantitativa, bem como uma metodologia por entrevista semiestruturada. É esperado que no final deste projeto a mestranda consiga pôr em prática a sua marca de vestuário de consciência social e ambiental.
Abstract : The following academic work has the main purpose to present a theoretical-practical project in which an ethical and sustainable clothing brand is created, allied to the minimalist style. This project came up with the need to solve problems related to fast fashion consumption, namely the pesticides used in cotton farming, the toxic inks that textiles receive and the disposal of end-of-life clothing in landfills. The process of brand development involves searching trends, inspiration, materials and color, defining the target audience and brand values. Their pieces are illustrated and have their respective technical design that helps in making them and, finally, the best way to promote the brand in the market is studied. All these processes are carried out based on the ethical and sustainable paradigm. The project is carried out based on a mixed methodology: non-interventionist, research, and quantitative-based interventionist, as well as a semi-structured interview methodology. It is expected that at the end of this project the master student will be able to put into practice her socially and environmentally conscious clothing brand.
