No presente artigo, procuraremos sistematizar alguns aspectos
que consideramos poderem contribuir para um melhor desempenho da
actividade docente dos professores de artes visuais, identificados a partir
da bibliografia consultada sobre o estudo que realizamos acerca das
metodologias de ensino naquela área. Ao longo da nossa experiência
docente, fomo-nos dando conta que a metodologia ou metodologias
adoptadas devem ser entendidas de modo mais flexível, ajustadas, tanto
quanto possível, em função dos contextos, dos alunos e dos objecvos dos
programas. Dos aspectos que consideramos relevantes no processo de
ensino e aprendizagem, sublinharemos, neste argo, a relação de
confiança que deve ser estabelecida entre professor e alunos, traduzida,
por exemplo, na participação destes na planificação das actividades, na
definição dos objectivos e na avaliação; o papel do professor enquanto
modelo de referência para os seus alunos; a ponderação e equilíbrio que
deve estar presente na definição das condições propostas pelo professor e
as oportunidades de escolha dos alunos; a importância da aprendizagem
em contexto de grupo; os efeitos do “currículo extenso” e do “currículo
profundo” no desenvolvimento das aprendizagens, das atitudes e
habilidades. Os “projectos de âmbito ou de domínio” e as “pastas”,
propostas por Gardner como meios educavos para fomentar a
abordagem integrada da produção artistica, da percepção e da reflexão,
constituirão também objecto de análise.
ABSTRACT: In this article, we will try to systematize some aspects in order to improve visual arts teachers performance, identified from the bibliography of the study developed about teaching methodologies. . Through our teaching experience, we realize that methodology or methodologies adopted must be understood in a flexible way adjusted, as much as possible, to student’s contexts and according with programs objectives. From the aspects we consider relevant in the teaching/learning process, in this article we underline the relationship of trust that must be established between teacher and students, expressed, for example, in their parcipaon in planning these acvies, the definion of objectives and evaluation; the role of the teacher as a reference model for their students; the weighting and balance that must be present in the definition of the conditions proposed by the teacher and the choice opportunities for students; the importance of learning in a group seng; the effects of "extensive curriculum" and "deep curriculum" in the development of learning, atitudes and skills . The "drati scope or domain " and "folders”, proposed by Gardner as educational strategies to promote integrated artistic production approach, of perception and reflection, will also be analyzed
