Description
Abstract : This Report is organized in two interconnected parts in order to translate the reality experienced during the year of Pedagogical Practice (Supervised Teaching Practice) in which a research study was developed. If the first part contextualizes the environment, the school, the classes and the own planning and practice developed and reflected, the second part presents the research study emergent from such practice. The study we develop presents a pedagogical vision of promoting success and motivation in the Musical Formation discipline, through the identification and discussion of several strategic points of work within the didactics of the Music Formation. Starting with the approach to the teacher's role and the presentation of educational and motivational theories, the theme was based on other concepts associated with musical learning, such as aurality and / or the term "good musician". In order to theoretically frame the research, a study of cases in the scope of Musical Education was referenced, serving to awaken the discussion and reflection of the subject that we approach. A descriptive qualitative research methodology was developed, based on the questionnaire technique, with one version for teacher and another for student, with which it was intended to know and understand which pedagogical practices applied in the discipline, relating it to the levels of success and motivation. After analyzing the data of the study, where 140 respondents (52 teachers and 88 students) participated, it was concluded that there are some changes that can be made in the musical training landscape, since, according to 62% of the teachers, the discipline is not motivating. The essence of the practices adopted in class by teachers shows them as one of the origins of problems, and the teacher, according to the students interviewed, plays a fundamental role in the development of a motivated and successful musical learning. In this way, we defend several points of view, in each chapters, that can base the learning of the discipline through its reflection, based on publications on pedagogy and the psychology of music. The combination of the various researches cited and the study of research cases were an essential complement to the development of this Report, contributing significantly to the presentation of a pedagogical vision to promote success and motivation in the Musical Formation discipline.
