Description
O presente relatório insere-se na Unidade Curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino de Música – instrumento e classe de conjunto. Encontra-se dividido em três partes, sendo que a primeira é alusiva à Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, realizada no Conservatório Regional de Música de Ferreirim e, a segunda, referente ao Ensino de Trompete nesse contexto. A terceira parte engloba a Investigação na Prática de Ensino, sendo intitulada de “Meios/Técnicas facultativas para a resolução de problemas nos aerofones – trompete”.
Tocar um instrumento de sopro, seja de madeira ou de metal, requer muita prática e horas de estudo, para que se possa alcançar uma boa performance enquanto instrumentista. No entanto, nem sempre o estudo é executado da melhor maneira, pois há vários problemas que se encontram associados à prática de instrumento, nomeadamente uma incorreta posição da embocadura e/ou língua, uma errada forma de respiração e focagem do ar e até mesmo uma prática errada no que toca ao tempo de descanso. Para além de todos estes fatores que condicionam a performance do instrumentista, também há causas naturais que podem contribuir para que o tempo de estudo ou a prática de instrumento não seja tão produtiva, como o stress, a ansiedade e o cansaço. Então, neste âmbito, há dois aspetos fulcrais dos quais o instrumentista deve ser detentor: em primeiro, ter conhecimento de meios/técnicas que o auxiliem na resolução de problemas que o condicionam, tendo noção do aparelho ao qual deve recorrer e que melhor o auxiliará. Em segundo, todos os professores de instrumento devem orientar os seus alunos, conhecendo os métodos e aparelhos que se devem aplicar, de forma que as limitações que o aluno sente face à prática de instrumento sejam melhoradas e/ou resolvidas, para que este alcance uma boa performance musical. Desta forma, o presente relatório tem como objetivo explorar vários meios/técnicas que auxiliem na resolução de problemas de aerofones, principalmente de trompete. Para complementar toda a informação teórica ao qual se recorreu, foi realizada uma metodologia de investigação, com recurso a um inquérito por questionário, sendo aplicado a instrumentistas de trompete, que toquem por hobbie ou que seja a sua profissão, como forma de perceber se estes recorrem ao uso de aparelhos respiratórios ou outros meios para auxiliar nas limitações que apresentem e melhorar a sua prática de estudo. A amostra do estudo engloba quarenta indivíduos e, de entre as conclusões, pode-se denotar que, o facto de alguns indivíduos tocarem apenas por hobbie, poderá condicionar o uso destes aparelhos e, consequentemente, a sua performance musical.
Abstract: This report is part of the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master in Music Teaching - instrument and ensemble class. It is divided into three parts, the first alludes to the Supervised Teaching Practice, carried out at the Conservatório Regional de Música de Ferreirim and the second refers to the Trumpet Teaching in this context. The third part encompasses the Research in Teaching Practice, and is entitled "Optional Means/Techniques for Solving Problems in the Wind Instruments - Trumpet". Playing a wind instrument, whether wood or metal, requires a lot of practice and hours of study in order to achieve a good performance as an instrumentalist. However, the study is not always executed in the best way, because there are several problems that are associated with the practice of the instrument, including an incorrect position of the embochure and/or tongue, a wrong way of breathing and air focus, and even a wrong practice when it comes to resting time. In addition to all these factors that affect the performance of the instrumentalist, there are also natural causes that can contribute to less productive study time or instrument practice, such as stress, anxiety, and fatigue. So, in this context, there are two key aspects that the instrumentalist must have: first, having knowledge of the means/techniques that can help him/her solve the problems that condition him/her, having a notion of the device to which he/she must resort and which will best help him/her. Secondly, all instrument teachers should guide their students, knowing the methods and apparatus that should be applied, so that the limitations the student feels when practicing the instrument can be improved and/or solved, so that he/she can achieve a good musical performance. In this way, this report aims to explore various means/techniques that help in solving problems with wind instruments, especially the trumpet. To complement all the theoretical information which was used, a research methodology was carried out, using a questionnaire survey, which was applied to trumpet players, who play as a hobby or as a profession, as a way to understand if they use breathing apparatus or other means to help with their limitations and improve their study practice. The sample of the study includes forty individuals and, among the conclusions, it can be denoted that the fact that some individuals play only as a hobby may affect the use of these devices and, consequently, their musical performance.
