Relatório de Estágio apresentado à Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco e à Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Design de Vestuário e Têxtil.
O seguinte relatório de Estágio, visa a apresentação de trabalho realizado em dois estágios curriculares no âmbito do curso de Mestrado de Design do Vestuário e Têxtil realizados no ano letivo de 2013/2014. O primeiro estágio realizado de 15 de Setembro 2013 a 15 de Fevereiro de 2014 com a duração de cinco meses, na designer Katty Xiomara, sediada no Porto, Portugal. O segundo estágio foi realizado de 5 de Maio 2014 a 5 de Agosto 2014 com a duração de 3 meses, na empresa Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, sediada em Madrid, Espanha. O que se pretendia era a realização de dois estágios, um a nível Nacional, e outro a nível Internacional, dentro da Área de Design de Vestuário e Têxtil. A inclusão dentro do mundo de trabalho, foi um dos principais motivos que levaram a realização dos estágios. O contacto com empresas bem sucedidas tanto a nível nacional como internacional, foi o estimulante para uma experiência de aprendizagem e iniciação na carreira de Design de Vestuário e Têxtil. Em consequência destas duas experiências foram adquiridos muitos conhecimentos a nível pessoal e principalmente, a nível profissional. A crença da aluna de que um estágio curricular é a melhor forma de aprendizagem foi completamente visível em ambos os estágios realizados. Desta forma a aluna também pode testar as competências adquiridas tanto na sua licenciatura como no seu Mestrado, comprovando que estaria preparada para ingressar no mundo de trabalho. Esta dissertação é também uma investigação e comparação entre as duas empresas. A intenção é realizar um estudo comparativo tanto em relação à moda a nível nacional e internacional, mas também referente aos estágios realizados, criando uma comparação entre as duas designers e a sua assinatura pessoal, enquanto designer e empresa. Dadas as irregularidades económicas em que nos encontramos no presente, este estudo investigativo também tem como função, identificar o estado do mercado de moda tanto em Portugal, como no Estrangeiro, neste caso Espanha, e a sua Globalização. Um estudo investigativo e comparativo entre duas empresas de Renome Mundial. Devido à realização de dois estágios e das suas diversidades de tarefas e projetos integrados não foi necessário a realização de um projeto extra.
Abstract: The following internship report, aims the presentation of the work developed in two internships under the Master course of Apparel and Textile Design accomplished in the academic year of 2013/2014. The first internship preformed from 15 September 2013 to 15 February 2014 with the duration of five months, the designer Katty Xiomara, based in Porto, Portugal. The second internship was preformed from 5 May 2014 to 5 August 2014 with the duration of three months, in the company Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, based in Madrid, Spain. The principal objective was to develop two internships, one in the national level, in Portugal and another in the International level, in Spain, inside the area of Apparel and Textile Design. The inclusion in the professional world was one of the main reasons in the realization of both internships. The contact with successful companies both nationally and internationally, was the stimulant for a learning experience and initiation in the career of Apparel and Textile design. As the result of these two experiences the student gained much knowledge on a personal level and especially at the professional level. The student believes that an internship is the best way of learning and this factor was completely visible on both internships. In this way the student could also test the skills acquired in her degree and in her Master, proving that she was prepared to enter the professional world. This work is also an investigation and an comparison between the two companies. The intention is to perform an comparison related to fashion at national and international level, but also an comparison related to the both internships, the two designers and their personal signature, as designers and companies. Given the economic irregularities that both countries are presenting, this investigative study also has the function to identify the position of the fashion market in Portugal as abroad, in this case Spain and their Globalization. An investigative and comparative study between two companies of world renown. On account of the realization of two internships and its integrated tasks and project diversity was not necessary the realization of an extra project.
