Description
O estágio curricular integrado no Mestrado em Design de Interiores e Mobiliário foi desenvolvido na Byho Interior Design, na cidade de Faro. A empresa reúne uma diversidade de projetos realizados, desde espaços habitacionais a espaços comerciais, estando ativa no mercado há 14 anos, tendo sido estes fatores essenciais na escolha do local de estágio. O desenvolvimento do mesmo, teve como principal objetivo pôr em prática os conhecimentos adquiridos durante a licenciatura e mestrado, para adquirir experiência profissional e obter competências essenciais enquanto designer.
Todas as tarefas realizadas durante os seis meses de estágio, desde o desenvolvimento de vários projetos de mobiliário e espaços, à coordenação e supervisão da execução das obras, até ao contacto direto com os clientes e fornecedores foram ferramentas essenciais para um próspero crescimento profissional como pessoal.
Abstract : The internship that is incorporated in a master’s degree in Interior and Furniture Design was developed at Byho Interior Design, in Faro, Algarve. Its diversity of the accomplished projects, from living to commercial spaces, and many years of experience, the company has been in the market for 14 years, were the essential factors in choosing the place for the internship. The main goal is to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the bachelor's and master's degree, to gain experience in this field of work and to obtain professional competence. The chores completed during the internship helped to better learn and understand the entire process behind an interior design project. Several tasks achieved over the course of six months, such as communication with customers and suppliers, development of furniture and space projects, execution of works, contributed to personal and professional growth.
