Description
Os idosos fazem parte de uma grande percentagem da população portuguesa, e muitas das vezes eles são postos de parte pela nossa sociedade. O presente projeto consiste em construir um espaço acolhedor e preparado para pessoas desta senioridade.
Vivemos hoje em dia numa sociedade que visa dar uma maior importância a espaços adaptados a utilizadores com mobilidade reduzida, mas como todo o tipo de problemas, a questão de modificar edifícios para adaptação destas pessoas ainda não está totalmente integrada na mente da população. Em Portugal pode-se observar que muitos lares e residências seniores são construídas de forma simples sem terem em conta a mentalidade do idoso.
O meu projeto consiste na reabilitação de um espaço residencial e prepara-lo para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida, trazendo-lhes novas tecnologias e dando-lhes conhecimento de leis e informações necessárias a este tipo de estruturas.
Abstract : The elderly are part of a large percentage of the Portuguese population, and often they are set aside by our society. My project is to build a welcoming and prepared space for people of this seniority. We live today in a society that aims to show greater importance to spaces for the handicapped and eldery, but like all kinds of problems, the issue of modifying buildings for the adaptation of these people, the concept is not yet fully integrated in people's minds. In Portugal it can be observed that many homes and senior residences are simply constructed without taking into account the mentality of the elderly. My proposal consists in the rehabilitation of a residential space and to prepare it for people with reduced mobility, bringing them new technologies and giving them knowledge of laws and information necessary for this type of structures.
