Description
A estenose aórtica por válvula bicúspide, é
caracterizada pelo comprometimento da abertura
da válvula aórtica, estreitando-a, o que por sua
vez dificulta a ejeção sanguínea ventricular, tendo
apresentam sintomatologia, nomeadamente dor
bom prognóstico à saída do bloco operatório
ABSTRACT: Aortic stenosis by bicuspid valve is characterized by the compromise of the opening of the aortic valve, narrowing it, which in turn hinders ventricular blood ejection, having as a direct consequence an increase in the effort of the heart muscle and an ectasia/ aneurysm of the aorta. Both stenosis and aortic aneurysm present symptoms, namely chest pain, fatigue, syncope. With regard to aortic aneurysm, it can become fatal in case of rupture. A 54-year-old male patient diagnosed with aortic stenosis (congenital valvular bicuspidy), ascending aortic aneurysm and coronary artery disease of a vessel. He was admitted to a central hospital, where he underwent surgery to replace the aortic valve by mechanical prosthesis, excision of the ascending aortic aneurysm with implantation of the conduit and coronary revascularization surgery of the left mammary artery pediculated to the anterior descending coronary artery, presented a good prognosis at the exit of the operating room.
