Description
O presente relatório versa sobre a realização do estágio que decorreu na empresa Creative Lemons – Films & Design e propõe uma análise sobre o processo de criação de personagens.
Esta investigação insere-se no campo científico do design gráfico, com foco no design de personagens, especificamente, para ilustração e motion graphics, com o objetivo de refletir sobre o seu papel e os seus intervenientes.
O tópico investigativo presente neste trabalho incide nos processos usados no design de personagens e, nos seus componentes e métodos usados na empresa.
No âmbito deste relatório, é necessário realizar um estudo para contextualizar as várias criações existentes, perceber o processo, o seu percurso. É importante, também, fazer uma recolha de informação relacionada com os vários processos de criação no geral.
Ao longo do relatório realizado abordam-se as várias técnicas para a criação de personagens, observadas através de uma metodologia mista de base qualitativa, aplicando métodos não intervencionista e intervencionista.
Foi feito um enquadramento teórico, uma contextualização dos temas cruciais ao pensamento e fundamentação da atividade projetual em contexto de estágio e dos fundamentos que norteiam o trabalho prático. Na fase seguinte, procedeu-se à descrição e explicação de todo o trabalho realizado durante o estágio, em particular sobre o desenvolvimento dos processos de design de personagens para ilustração e motion graphics.
Abstract : This report deals with the realization of the internship that took place at Creative Lemons – Films & Design, and proposes an analysis of the process of character creation. This research is part of the scientific field of graphic design, focusing on character design, specifically for illustration and motion graphics, with the aim of reflecting on its role and its actors. The research topic present in this work focuses on the processes used in the design of characters and, in their components and methods used in the company. Within this report, it is necessary to carry out a study to contextualize the various existing creations, to understand the process, its course. It is also important to collect information related to the various creation processes in general. Throughout the report, the various techniques for character creation are addressed, observed through a mixed qualitative methodology, applying non-interventionist and interventionist methods. A theoretical framework was made, a contextualization of the crucial themes to the thought and foundation of the projectactivity in the context of internship and the foundations that guide the practical work. In the next phase, we proceeded to the description and explanation of all the work performed during the internship, in particular on the development of character design processes for illustration and motion graphics.
