Description
O presente Relatório Profissional inicia com uma reflexão sobre o estágio realizado durante a Prática Educativa Supervisionada, bem como o estudo de investigação derivado da Prática Educativa Artística.
Atualmente, na prática profissional presente, é crescentemente notório um índice de maior desmotivação por parte dos alunos, derivado de inúmeros fatores que envolvem o próprio docente e a instituição. A autoestima assume um papel relevante na educação, pois influencia a forma como o aluno estabelece os seus objetivos e projeta as suas expectativas para o futuro (Bednar, & Peterson, 1995). Sendo assim, estratégias que regulem os níveis de bem-estar emocional representam ferramentas indispensáveis aos profissionais de educação que pretendem promover a aprendizagem de forma consciente e ponderada na autoestima do aluno. De acordo com Chalita (2001), a habilidade emocional é o grande pilar da educação, limitando-se o desenvolvimento de habilidades cognitivas e sociais quando se verifica exclusão de emoção no processo de ensino. O simples facto de reconhecer que o processo de aprendizagem pode ser lento e duradouro pode promover a impaciência e frustração do aluno.
O presente estudo aborda cenários menos favoráveis que comumente causam um decréscimo ou instabilidade na autoestima, autoconceito e bem-estar emocional do aluno. Neste sentido, foi elaborado um estudo de caso restrito com crianças violinistas, focalizado nas necessidades emocionais de cada uma, de maneira a perceber as repercussões, efeitos e consequências que a aplicação de medidas específicas pudessem gerar. Os resultados, comparados com um grupo padrão de crianças, proporcionaram conclusões que considero concretas e pertinentes para o sistema educativo artístico atual.
Abstract : This report relates to the work carried out for the practical curricular units of Supervised Teaching Practice and Artistic Studies Project of the Masters’ Degree in Music Education – solo and ensemble lessons. It is divided into two main sections. The first section describes the supervised teaching practice that took place at Academia de Música de Paços de Brandão, during the academic year of 2020/2021. Besides characterising the school environment, students and ensemble, it also includes a final reflection about the main difficulties and learning points found throughout the year. The second section describes a research project on the rising level of demotivation in students, due to several factors, including the teacher and the institution itself. Self-esteem takes a relevant role in education, once it induces the way students establish their goals and expectations to the future (Bednar, & Peterson, 1995). Thus, the level of emotional well-being represents a significant role for educational professionals that intend to promote a conscious and pondered way of learning in/for the student self-esteem. According to Chalita (2001), emotional skills are the great cornerstone of education. They are capable of limiting the development of cognitive and social skills when emotion is excluded of the learning process. Besides, recognizing that this process takes time can cause impatiente and frustration in the student. This research presents less favorable scenarios that causes distress, instable self-esteem and low emotional well-being. With that in mind, it was elaborated a strict study case, focused on the emotional needs of each child, in order to understand the repercutions, effects and consequences of the measures applied. The results provide concrete and pertinent conclusions about the current educational system
