Description
Abstract: Music and emotion are complex concepts and their relationships present different expressions in brain function that can be registered through the performance of the electroencephalogram, allowing its study and evaluation. In order to demonstrate that music and emotion are interrelated and that they influence brain activity, the compilation of 10 articles with publication dates between 2015 and 2021 was carried out through scientific research on well-known platforms. The main information from each of the studies has been collected and related to each other. It was noticed that besides areas and locations in common when processing emotions induced by music in the brain, similarities were detected in the electroencephalographi characteristics recorded in the different articles analysed, but also disparities, especially when considering inseparable influences such as taste and familiarity.
