Description
O presente relatório de estágio foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, do 2º ano de Mestrado em Ensino da Música, da Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco e encontra-se dividido em duas partes. A parte I integra a descrição e análise do trabalho pedagógico desenvolvido no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada na Escola de Música do Centro Cultural Pedro Álvares Cabral de Belmonte, no ano letivo de 2020/2021. A parte II descreve o projeto de investigação realizado, que tem como objetivo principal identificar e analisar os motivos que levam os estudantes a aprender guitarra portuguesa.
A literatura científica tem demonstrado que a motivação é uma força dinamizadora da aprendizagem e do rendimento escolar e que um indivíduo motivado possui um comportamento ativo e empenhado no processo de aprendizagem.
A presente investigação tem por base uma metodologia de natureza descritiva suportada através da recolha de dados, com base em questionários, realizados a estudantes de guitarra portuguesa. Desta forma, foi possível identificar e compreender as motivações que levaram os participantes do estudo a escolher a guitarra portuguesa como instrumento de estudo. Os dados obtidos reforçam a importância da motivação na aprendizagem, designadamente na aprendizagem da guitarra portuguesa e na escolha do instrumento. Os resultados sugerem que os motivos que influenciaram a opção pela guitarra portuguesa foram o contacto com o instrumento na escola, as audições e as noites de fados. Os aspetos mais apelativos foram a sua “arquitetura” assim como o som/timbre. As motivações que contribuíram para a continuação e persistência do estudo deste instrumento musical são, sobretudo, motivações intrínsecas.
Abstract : This internship report was developed for the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice, of the second year of the Master's in Music Teaching, at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco and is divided into two parts. Part I includes the description and analysis of the pedagogical work developed within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice at the School of Music of the Pedro Álvares Cabral de Belmonte Cultural Center, in the academic year 2020/2021. Part II describes the research project carried out, whose main purpose is to identify and analyze the reasons that lead students to learn Portuguese Guitar. Scientific literature has shown that motivation is a driving force for learning and school performance and that a motivated individual has an active and committed behavior in the learning process. The present investigation is based on a descriptive methodology supported by data collection, through questionnaires, carried out with Portuguese guitar students, it was possible to identify and understand the motivations that led the study participants to choose the Portuguese guitar as an instrument of study. The data obtained reinforce the importance of motivation in learning, namely in learning the Portuguese guitar and in the choice of the the instrument. The results suggest that the reasons that influenced the choice for the Portuguese guitar were contact with the instrument at school, auditions and fado nights. The most appealing aspects were its “architecture” as well as the sound/timbre. The motivations that contributed to the continuation and persistence of the study of this musical instrument are mainly intrinsic motivations.
