Description
O termo design é um elemento fulcral, considerado uma interface social e cultural que,
estabelece a mediação entre pessoas e marcas, empresas ou objetos quotidianos, no
modo como informa, orienta, comunica e persuade comportamentos e ações. Deste
modo, o design é considerado importante pois cria o contexto, o processo de
comunicação e a forma da mensagem, no meio mais pertinente para determinado
destinatário, promovendo a facilidade no acesso, a fruição da informação e a boa
experiência de uso.
Assim, este relatório de estágio tem como tema o design como interface tornando-se um
estudo fulcral para a compreensão da perspetiva do design enquanto parte ativa do
processo de criação de um projeto de design, bem como das agências enquanto
intermediárias do cliente com o projeto final. Este estudo tem como objetivo responder
às solicitações da empresa, de acordo com o briefing e nas existentes, procurando
assegurar a qualidade no design; gerir a informação e adequar os dados de modo a
assegurar um bom resultado para a inCentea e os respetivos clientes e seus públicos e
desenvolver projetos concretos em diferentes meios, adaptando processos e
procedimentos às necessidades de design para cada caso.
O tópico investigativo para este estudo surgiu com um elo de ligação a
uma investigação relativa ao design interface, deste modo foram realizadas diversas
pesquisas sobre o tema mencionado e uma análise pormenorizada de diversos projetos
realizados ao longo dos meses de estágio na empresa inCentea M.I..
Com a conclusão da investigação pode-se verificar que muitos clientes põem os seus
gostos pessoais acima dos interesses da eficácia da comunicação corporativa, sendo
prática comum na empresa a validação destes gostos, para não comprometer a
conclusão do trabalho ou o arrastar do projeto.
Assim, é importante demonstrar os contributos que os conteúdos do cliente e do público
condicionam o design enquanto “interface” aqui destacado pelos briefings incompletos
e pela falta de feedback construtivos e críticos, com resultados negativos para a equipa
de design.
Abstract: The term design is a key element, considered a social and cultural interface that establishes the mediation between people and brands, companies or everyday objects, in the way it informs, guides, communicates and persua- des behaviors and actions. Thus, the design is considered important becau- se it creates the context, the communication process and the form of the message, in the most relevant medium for a particular recipient, promoting ease of access, enjoyment of information and good user experience. Thus, this internship report has the theme of design as interface, becoming a key study for the understanding of the design perspective as an active part of the creation process of a design project, as well as the agencies as intermediaries of the client with the final project. This study aims to respond to the company’s requests, according to the briefing and in the existing ones, seeking to ensure quality in design; to manage information and adjust data in order to ensure a good result for inCentea and its clients and their audien- ces and to develop concrete projects in different media, adapting processes and procedures to the design needs for each case. The investigative topic for this study emerged with a link to an investigation regarding interface design, thus several researches were done on the men- tioned theme and a detailed analysis of several projects carried out during the months of internship in the company inCentea M.I.. With the conclusion of the research it can be verified that many clients put their personal tastes above the interests of the effectiveness of corporate communication, being common practice in the company the validation of these tastes, so as not to compromise the conclusion of the work or the dragging of the project. Thus, it is important to demonstrate the contributions that the client’s and the public’s contents condition the design as “interface” highlighted here by incomplete briefings and the lack of constructive and critical feedback, with negative results for the design team.
